Meditation Guide

A simple, beginner-friendly introduction to meditation — with a guided meditation video, practical tips, and techniques to help you feel calmer and more focused.

What is Meditation?

Meditation is a simple, evidence-backed practice of focusing your attention — on your breath, your body, or the present moment — to calm your mind and reduce stress. You don't need any experience, special equipment, or a lot of time. Even just 5 minutes a day can make a meaningful difference in how you feel.

Why Meditate?

😌

Reduces stress & anxiety

Slows your heart rate and quiets the "fight or flight" response in your brain.

🧠

Improves focus

Regular practice strengthens your ability to concentrate and stay on task.

😴

Better sleep

Calming the mind before bed helps you fall asleep faster and sleep more deeply.

💭

Emotional balance

Builds awareness of your thoughts and feelings without being overwhelmed by them.

  • 1. Find a quiet space where you won't be interrupted for a few minutes.
  • 2. Sit comfortably — in a chair, on the floor, or wherever feels natural. You don't need to sit cross-legged.
  • 3. Put your phone on silent and remove other distractions.
  • 4. Close your eyes or soften your gaze — whichever feels more comfortable.
  • 5. There's no "right" way to feel. If your mind wanders, that's completely normal — just gently bring your attention back.
